This indeed is the consumer question that we are used to hearing. Looking at it psychologically, it’s a feel good question, our worthiness to have items/experiences bestowed upon on us. The ultimate prize, to have a new version of a phone, seats on a plane, hotel rooms, holiday destinations, etc.
While there is a pleasure to be had from the availability from consumer upgrades. How do we upgrade our lives? Think deeper than the usual things we have come to know, e.g money, house and holidays. How does an upgrade on freedom, happiness, connections, touching the world with your blueprint, look and feel like? It’s funny that the things that don’t cost are not the ones we concentrate on.
We know of people, who we are told, have it all, but the inner desire is not fulfilled. So what does your upgrade look like? e.g making peace with yourself and the past, shifting the mindset to a more enjoyable turf, really hugging your dream, and processing it out to manifest, choosing a new view on life. Unshackling from the past exploits and moving in this present moment. If confidence is your new upgrade concentrate on what that means to you. Read about confidence, speak it and practice it in all areas. What will it make you do more of that you are not doing now. That my friend is the motivation to get you going on your personal upgrade!
Your change for an upgrade can have a trickle down effect to more than one area of your life. I remember, learning about food from a holistic point of view, this lead me to change my diet gradually, which led me to find dance exercises, that aided in weight reduction. Feeling good on these outcomes, my next mission was to revert back to wearing my hair in, its natural state. The upgrade didn’t happen all at once and it was no way without its challenges. It took a lot of mind shifting, and at times stepping forward and stepping back. The grand result was freedom for the body and mind, more energy and the chance to just be me.
I am working on an upgrade of a lifestyle that incorporates my work assignments of coaching, online workshops, speaking, traveling, socializing, connecting world wide, family connections, plus professional. The freedom to touch people wherever, to feel happy for the opportunity to do so, and celebrating along the way. I will also contribute to charities that help others because giving back is vital as it makes the world a better place for all.
I have an intense vision of having a workshop near a beach area, just the sight of it, makes me excited. It is in my action plan to make it happen.
What is it going to take to touch on the lifestyle that you want? Are you planning it now? Will it be inclusive in your business? Of course our vision has to be backed up with action, and it may indeed be a long haul, but like any flight, aim for your destination.
Let today be the first day you set the wheels in motion and if you have already taken steps continue to do so. You are not alone.
Let me know your views on this.
